Projects Name

This semester I set out to find young people in New York City who will be comfortable with letting me photograph them inside their apartments. These editorial portraits are made with a mix of people that I know as well as strangers, to further develop my skill as a portrait photographer. With little to no control in space, lighting and subject, I challenged myself to create a photograph that says alot about the person. I like to think of my subjects as artists, if they were music artists what would their “album cover” be like. I used my subject's environment to make their portraits more interesting. My goal is to become comfortable shooting under any conditions and making a successful portrait.
